Why A Great Juicer Is A Great Achievement – Read Here!

To meet every plan, there are plenty of green machines on the market, although the cheapest may not always make you happiest. Speak of your purchase of juicer as an investment in your health, power, and radiance in the long term. We want to cram into our glasses every single ounce of goodness. Crappy juicers can, sadly, produce crappy yield. If you’re spending money on high-quality, organic fruits and vegetables and preparing them for juicing, you might as well be confident that the device you’re using will help maximize their nutrients and energy.

There are typically two main types for non-commercial juicers and blenders online. In a moment, I’ll explain them more thoroughly, but the fundamental difference is that you work quickly and are easy to clean but not top-of-the-line when it comes to the durability of your juices. The other produces juices that may contain more nutrients and enzymes and may last for a few days, but it takes longer and may be more challenging to clean than its quicker counterparts.

Types Of Juicers/Blenders

Centrifugal Juicers. My centrifugal juicer is my friend. I love it mostly because (as some of my old boyfriends) it’s fast and easy. Centrifugal juicer has a big mouth to feed into your fruits and veggies, ensuring you don’t need to slice into itty-bitty bits in advance. Great time saver. These are quite noisy on the downside, and high-speed spinning allows the juice to oxidize faster than with a slower speed juicer.

Masticating Juicers (AKA Slow Juicers). These lovelies work a little like our pearly whites — they use a single gear (or the drill) that chews up the goods to break down the fibrous cell walls and remove the juice that is squeezed gently through a stainless steel tube. Masticating juicer prefer to produce more than a centrifugal juicer, and thus dryer pulp. You’re going to get less decay and more nutrients because they’re working at slower speeds. The juice will last longer. Place and refrigerate in a tightly sealed mason jar and hold it for up to 48 hours. Score! And if noise is a problem, the way to go is to masticate juicer. Unlike puppies, they rumble.

Twin Gear Juicers (AKA Triturating juicers). Twin gear juicer run at rates that are even slower than chewing juicers, which ensures that these rockstar machines harvest the highest yield and hold the most nutrients in your liquid sunshine. We grind between two interlocking roller gears and press the material and slowly squeeze out the goodness. Because there is less oxidation, you will get up to 72 hours of juice rich in nutrients — provided you store your juice in an airtight container and hold it in the refrigerator. The other advantage of twin gear juicer is that they make the most of leafy greens and wheatgrass.

Norwalk Hydraulic Press. Last but not least: the slowest badass on the scene, the most powerful. This device pushes the juice out of fruits and veggies, including hard-to-juice grasses such as wheatgrass (as used in a hydraulic press). This sturdy juicer produces 50 to 100 percent more juice than other devices, and for up to three days, the liquid itself will remain very fresh. Since Norwalk devices are so costly, they are mostly used in healing centers or for commercial purposes — including the cold-pressed juices in juice bars that you may have noticed.
